Built by a World Class Team

About Us
GoodRunss started as a simple idea: finding a good run shouldn’t be hard. On campuses and in communities across the country, players wasted time driving to empty gyms, crowding into overbooked courts, or dropping out altogether.

Our team — anchored at Carnegie Mellon University and shaped by leaders in AI, design, and business — saw the gap and built the world’s first operating system for recreational sports.

GoodRunss was piloted at Carnegie Mellon gyms, where it eliminated overcrowding, boosted utilization by 80%, and gave students real-time visibility into where to play. This success sparked partnerships with other universities, cities, and facilities.

Our founder, Anthony Edwards, is not only an MBA Candidate at Carnegie Mellon but also a Swartz Fellow, part of an elite program nurturing entrepreneurs who merge technology and business to solve real-world problems.

Our Mission

To transform recreational sports into a frictionless, inclusive, and data-driven experience — where every player can find their game, and every facility runs smarter.

Core Values

Equity: Sports are for everyone. We design for access and fairness.

Simplicity: Seamless tech that feels natural, not complicated.

Community: Stronger play builds stronger communities.

Innovation: AI isn’t just automation — it’s intelligence that creates opportunity.
